Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Denver for a Mechanical Design Engineer at Lumos Architectural Lighting. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing custom products, overseeing the machine design process, conducting mechanical engineering testing, and utilizing computer-aided design. Additionally, the Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for product design and development.
Qualifications

Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills

Experience in Lighting, Lighting Product Design, Electrical or Electronics is preferred

Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (Solidworks/Autocad)

Experience designing and developing custom products is a plus

Experience overseeing multiple projects and managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to conduct mechanical engineering testing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Must be able to work closely with manufacturing and sales team

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus
