Lighting Designer: New York, NY

BR+A provides state-of-the-art integrated and coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection consulting engineering, technology systems design, lighting design, and building commissioning services.
BR+A is seeking applicants for a Lighting Designer position in our New York, NY office. This position’s responsibilities include:
- Developing lighting design and specifications
- Analyze lighting design process.
- Participate in project development.
- Initiate and set up lighting mock-ups.
- Prepare presentation and lighting design drawings.
Position Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Lighting Design
- Agi32, LightStanza, Climate Studio, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit, Dynamo, Rhino, and Grasshopper.
- Excellent Organizational and Communication skills.
- Proactive and Collaborative team member.
- Strong work ethic.

- Salary range: $61,000 - $77,000/year
- Hours: Minimum 40hrs/week, flexible hours but must be working during the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm.

- Remote work permitted 1.5 days per week within the metropolitan statistic area (MSA).
