Elite Lighting, the manufacturer of LED lighting headquartered in City of Commerce, is seeking a motivated and diplomatic certified candidate as Lighting Technical Support Representative to assist the company to monitor, diagnose and troubleshoot all incoming issues with Elite`s products. The Lighting Technical Support Representative must be familiar with all types of lighting (especially LED lighting) as well as be familiar with electrical configurations. Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot all electrical systems and products over the phone, by email and in-person, prioritizing urgent requests (those with strict job deadlines)

  • Assist our internal teams with any electrical technical support questions/issues.

  • Assist with creating installation sheets and line drawings.

  • Occasionally, may travel to jobsites to help resolve issues and complete reports after jobsites that outline resolutions and recommendations that tackle the root cause.

  • Schedule training aimed to inform internal and external customers about products.

  • Maintain records for work assigned, jobs addressed, and work completed in a neat and organized manner, use CALL.E for logging customer issues.

  • Demonstrate familiarity with Lutron drivers, master controls, dimming, and LED driver to LED board basic configurations.

  • Maintain tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in clean and safe condition.

  • Comply with all policies and procedures (e.g. customer service, safety, usage and handling of hazardous or restricted material)

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor`s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in general electrical service work (residential and/or commercial, retail) preferred.

  • Must have some field-installation experience.

  • Good computer skills and the ability to monitor, navigate and utilize equipment operating systems.

  • Must hold Electrical License and/or Certification.

  • Familiarity with Solid Works (this is a plus)

  • Knowledge of the use of power tools (required)

  • Some knowledge in DMX systems.

  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting wiring schematics.

  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)

  • Ability to read and understand schematic, electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings.

  • Ability to lift product up to 30 LBS occasionally.

  • Related work experience: 2 years (Preferred)

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel): 2 years (Required); Outlook: One year (Preferred)

 

Work location:

  • Commerce, CA

  • Work is Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Pay: starting from $65,000+
