DALLAS – May 3, 2021 – Dallas Market Center announces that registration is open and speakers are confirmed for ArchLIGHT Summit, a new lighting trade event and educational platform for architectural, specification and design communities. The first ArchLIGHT Summit will take place in-person September 21-22, 2021 on the first floor of the Dallas Trade Mart building. Details are available at archlightsummit.com.

“Knowledge is power, and anyone seeking powerful insights into lighting trends and technologies as well as important business leadership tools will have that opportunity at the ArchLIGHT Summit,” says Laura Van Zeyl, Vice President of Lighting Technology Development and Marketing at Dallas Market Center. “Lightovation has already established Dallas as the home of lighting in the residential channel. This event will offer a more comprehensive representation of lighting solutions, plus educational opportunities to keep lighting and design/build professionals at the top of their game.”

Over the past ten months, Dallas Market Center has hosted a wide range of in-person trade events with strict health and safety protocols that successfully balance good business and good health. The show’s mission is to create something fearlessly new driven by three progressive goals: Showcase Only The Best. Be Boldly Inclusive. Be Radically Playful. To accomplish these goals the show is working hand-in-hand with industry thought leaders on shaping the show with a diverse group of perspectives as well as creating hands-on product interaction and forward-thinking seminars and sessions.

In addition to attendee registration being open, exhibit space for the show is still available. Each exhibiting brand is limited to a single 10’x10’ booth or maximum of two 6’x10’ booths, although there will be a wait list for additional requests. Booth location assignments will take local and regional agency representation into account to optimize convenience for attendees and exhibitors. Custom sponsorship and marketing packages are also available to increase visibility, with complete information available at https://archlightsummit.com/exhibit/.

Dozens of existing architectural lighting resources at Dallas Market Center and a robust local specification community prompted the development of the ArchLIGHT Summit, which will broaden offerings to include non-residential brands in addition to those already present that straddle residential and commercial markets. Local and regional lighting agencies representing these brands—including founding agency partners Hossley Lighting and Power Solutions, and NexGen Lighting Solutions—will have the opportunity to shape this event. The city’s central location and accessibility is conducive to a broad geographic reach, creating new opportunities in the wake of other live events being canceled or held virtually.

ArchLIGHT Summit will be co-located with Dallas Design Week, providing additional CEU and networking opportunities for attendees of both events. Dallas Market Center is the largest and most active design center in the country, with more than 1.5 million square feet of home décor showrooms in three buildings.

Health & Safety Guidelines Supporting Buyer Comfort

Supporting the comfort, health and safety of all attendees, the market center continues measures that include mandatory face covering for every person entering the marketplace every day. The full health & safety measures are available via the Dallas Market Center website. Other efforts include enhanced cleaning with hospital grade products, hundreds of hand sanitizing stations and signage for social distancing. Along with these new steps, there are safety measures that are part of the design of the marketplace: open parking, large entryways, quick registration in multiple areas, wide hallways, multiple escalators to each floor, and showrooms with controlled access to allow for the appropriate distance between customers.
