NexNord Inc. located in Brantford Ontario Canada specializes in UVA/UVC LED light technology to eradicate the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Originally, NexNord was using UVC LED light to enhance the growth, quality and to speed up the food plants, flowers, and Cannabis growth in horticultural and to kill mold, mites and other bacteria that destroys plant life.
However, when COVID-19 hit, the company shifted its focus into researching the effects of UVC LED light on the virus. It has been proven that 80 watts of UVC LED light at 280 Nanometers will instantly kill coronavirus with a 99.99% kill rate. NexNord’s UVC LED light meet those requirements.
In collaboration with professor Hadas Hamane of Tel Aviv University in Israel and professor Mark Hernanadez at the University of Colorado in Boulder, further proof was given of the effectiveness of high powered UVC LED light in eradicating the virus.
Since it has now been proven that the primary source of COVID-19 spread in Long Term Care Homes, Schools, Nurseries, Hospitals, Hockey Arenas, etc. is through air ventilation systems, it is now critical to disinfect the air that circulates through the ventilation systems in all buildings.
Along with the Air Duct LED Light, NexNord also offers Handheld, Portable, Recessed, Surface and wall mount models.
Currently Cedars Sinai and Monterrey Hospitals in California have units dis-infecting patient’s rooms, surgical theatres, laboratories, and PPE labs including PPE due to shortages.
Soon NexNord will introduce UVC LED Light technology for the food and meat processing facilities, grocery stores, restaurant and basically any organization with a processing or receiving operation.
