Lightfair Announces Virtual Conference Schedule
51 Courses, 61.5 CEUs
In March, it was announced that Lightfair 2020 was postponed.
In April, we learned that Lightfair 2020 was canceled.
In May, we learned more details about the planned virtual conferences.
In June, the virtual conference schedule is released.
In any profession, continuing education and training is vital to an employee's knowledge, skills and talents relating to her chosen career. In recent months of quarantining, each of us has been presented with countless opportunities to participate in online seminars and CEU training opportunities.
The Lightfair conference offerings should not be lumped into the same pile as the other virtual learning opportunities. Committees of lighting professionals selected what they believe to be the most relevant topics and most talented speakers to deliver training, education and resources to the industry. As a side note, two of the most important lighting industry organizations, the IES and IALD, derive much of their revenues from the annual in-person conference which didn't take place this year.
Investing in five or six Lightfair courses is an investment in yourself, your career and your industry. We will see you in the presentation rooms July 21-23!
