Rioters Burn Design Firm's Office

LA MESA, CA -- Over the weekend, peaceful protests relating to the death of George Floyd were held in many cities across the U.S.  In some instances, the peaceful protests were overshadowed by the acts of individuals who engaged in vandalism, breaking & entering, burglary and arson.  If you live in a large metropolitan area, those activities may have happened close to you.

If you are a commercial lighting industry professional in San Diego or San Francisco, it's likely that you're familiar with the M.E.P. engineering firm, Randall Lamb.  According to the firm's website, Randall Lamb has 53 employees with most of them based in the La Mesa, CA office, right outside of San Diego.

On Saturday night, bad actors took to the streets of La Mesa.  Many buildings were vandalized and set ablaze.  The office of Randall Lamb was one of the buildings that was targeted.  Randall Lamb employees are reported to be safe, but the reckless actions and resulting damage will certainly linger for some time.

Below are some videos and images of the activity that gutted the Randall Lamb building.  Please note that the videos are not pleasant to view and contain some violence.

There has been a GoFundMe page established to help the La Mesa businesses that were affected by the events described on this page:
