Two basketball players entered the Taunton ForeKicks gym.  One left without shoes.

TAUNTON, MA -- Aided by the moisture-wicking performance of a lighting agent hoodie, Boston-area sports fan-favorite, Brian Scalabrine, demonstrated that he still has the magic that propelled him to 1.8 points per game with the 2008 NBA Champion Boston Celtics.

Earlier this week, while shooting hoops on a well-illuminated basketball court, 43-year-old Scal was challenged to a 1-on-1 game by a player from the local Taunton Tigers H.S. basketball team.  Even though the 6'9" one-time First-team All-Pac-10 player was many years separated from playing organized competitive basketball, Scal did not back down from the challenge.

The video tweeted below by ESPN SportsCenter shows the graceful moves of Scal, exhibiting a tough, physical inside game -- forcefully banging his Illuminate hoodie against the 179lb teenage competitor.  Without breaking a sweat, Scal was exploiting the lightweight fabric of the Illuminate hoodie that enabled full range of motion for swishing multiple 18-foot jump shots.  Scal defeated the high-schooler 11-0.  Scal's adolescent opponent faded to off like a Lutron GRAFIK Eye QS.

Illuminate Principal and friend of Scal, Rick Taylor, was unable to confirm if the former 2nd Round NBA Draft Pick will soon be traveling to other local gyms in North Attleboro or Stoughton to win more shoes from middle class high schoolers.

This was indeed a teaching moment for the young player.  Scal's still got it.  #respect
