2021 Event Calendar Seems Daunting
With the new dates for LEDucation and Strategies in Light now established, August - October 2021 is shaping up to be quite the gauntlet of rapid-fire trade shows and conferences.
In 2020 we saw a slew of industry events convert to virtual events or be canceled altogether. As the world is seemingly on the doorstep of multiple COVID-19 vaccines, there is renewed hope that we may be several months away from returning to live events like trade shows and conferences.
The postponement of certain Spring events to Summer/Fall 2021 is now creating a 3-month period during which multiple large-scale conferences and trade shows are now scheduled. It's unlikely that many lighting specifiers or distributors will attend more than 2 or 3 of the shows, but for some manufacturers, the condensed schedule is going to cause decisions to be made relating to involvement, budgets, staffing, booth shipping logistics, etc.
