Regional Sales Manager

GigaTera LED Lighting is a global sports lighting manufacturer and a leading high performance sports lighting solutions with headquarters in South Korea. Our US based operation in Irving, Texas is growing rapidly and looking for an experienced sports lighting executive to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth and strengthen relationships with agencies, distributors, and specifiers.
Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand our footprint within the sports lighting industry. This role involves managing sales channels, working with lighting agencies, securing new business, and fostering relationships with customers such as contractors, distributors, municipalities, and engineering firms.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including stadiums, arenas, universities, high schools and municipalities.
- Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to senior management.
- Work closely with sales agencies within the assigned region to support their sales efforts and achieve targets.
- Train and educate agencies, distributors, and channel partners on product features, technical specifications, and competitive advantages.
- Develop territory management plans to maximize agency performance and ensure proper market coverage.
- 50% travel within the territory
- Develop and maintain relationships with key specifiers, contractors, distributors and end users in the sports lighting marketplace
- Work with Sales Director to develop sales strategies for each of our agents
- Respond to customer inquiries including internal and external team members in a timely manner
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to build brand awareness.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new products and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage and provide valuable insights to the organization
- Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge and continuously educate yourself on industry advancements
- Uphold our reputation as a trusted partner by delivering outstanding customer service
- Support customers through technical inquiries, site visits, and proposal development.
Requirements/Qualifications
- 3+ years of sports lighting selling experience, either with a sports lighting manufacturer or sports lighting agency
- Must have a thorough understanding of sports lighting applications and requirements and be able to communicate to agents, specifiers and contractors
- Must be comfortable and confident at presenting solutions to key decision makers and influencers including specifiers and the construction community
- Demonstrated success in sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a home-based office setup
- Must demonstrate proficiency in establishing and meeting sales goals with agency partners
- Must be able to read and understand electrical and design documents
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal sales support team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
