Product Manager - Indoor Commercial and Residential Lighting

Halco Lighting Technologies, one of the fastest growing lighting products companies in the US, is seeking an experienced Product Manager for its Indoor industrial and residential lighting category. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to retirement.
  • Gathering and analyzing feedback from stakeholders to inform product requirements and features for new offerings.
  • Conducting competitive gap analyses and develop compelling business cases to support the launch of new products and line extensions.
  • Overseeing the product portfolio, including sales performance, margin analysis, pricing strategy, SKU rationalization, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create content, coordinate product launches and training sessions for customers and internal staff.
  • Working closely with the Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to current regulations and standards.
  • Providing sales support by addressing technical queries related to the assigned product line as well as delivering product specific training to internal teams.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to inform product portfolio and stocking strategy.
  • Engage in industry associations and trade groups to enhance knowledge of products and market trends.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Product Manager in the commercial or residential lighting sector is required.
  • Strong knowledge of LEDs, drivers, and related technologies.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing product roadmaps, along with project management and stage gate processes.
  • Strong problem identification, structuring, and resolution skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to establish and manage shifting priorities based on business needs.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time, both domestic and international travel.
