This role supports our Business Development team, which is separate from our sales department and will focus on customer-facing project management.

Project Management and Sales Support:
  • Provide timely and accurate quotations to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), National Account (NA) Distributors, Custom Integrators, and other Business Development (BD) customers.
  • Follow company pricing policies and obtain prior approvals as required.
  • Act as the main point of contact (POC) for pre-sale activities.
  • Proactively manage projects.
    • Manage project tasks, including those assigned to other stakeholders or team members.
    • Coordinate/Participate in meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Occasional travel to job sites or other customer meetings as warranted.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Understand QTL’s products and services and stay up to date on new product offerings.
  • Provide take-offs and applications assistance.
  • Review customer orders for accuracy and proper documentation prior to sending them to the Account Manager or Order Entry team.
  • Document opportunities, customers, contacts, activities, communication, and other information in the CRM/ERP system.
  • Follow up with customers and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to close business.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and share with management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, design, or related field preferred.
  • Five or more years’ experience as a customer-facing project manager. Lighting industry experience and PMP certification a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to type and view multiple monitors.
