We currently have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quotations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is fully remote, providing flexibility and convenience for the right candidate.
Key areas of responsibility
- Work with distributors, contractors and end users to meet their quotations needs
- Execute the project quote life cycle beginning with initial quote request through sales quote development to closed order
- Collaborate with all sales rep functions (Sales, Tech Services, Customer Service, Controls, IT, Finance)
- Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare quotations for projects
- Responsible for the content, accuracy, and timeliness of project data entered in our project management software, OASIS
- Maintain and recommend measures to improve methods, performance and quality of service and suggest changes to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate customer communication on open quotes and requested project change orders.
- Ensure customer expectations are met
- Communicate to our manufacturer partners on pricing, features and options needed to win business
- Stay up to date with manufacturer product pricing and features / options as well as competitive product information
Qualifications
- Previous lighting quotation experience is preferred
- OASIS software experience required
- Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, co-workers and manufacturer partners
- Ability to complete time sensitive tasks with keen attention to detail
- Ability to read detailed blueprints and construction documents
- Strong organizational skills
- Outstanding written, verbal and phone communication skills
- Strong math skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
