What We’re Looking For:
As our Inside Salesperson, you will be connecting with existing and potential customers. You will be working directly with production/rental companies, specifiers, system integrators, and other key players in the AVL industry by preparing pricing quotes and entering sales orders into our system for processing. Supported by our team worldwide, we are seeking someone who is proactive, open, and thrives on making connections.
You’ll be:
- Outgoing and engaging, working with both new and existing customers.
- Passionate about sales – you’re motivated to find opportunities and optimize sales. You will assist the outside sales team by entering quotes and orders into our computer system.
- Experienced – helpful if you have experience in event/show production roles within the AVL or live performance and entertainment industry. Not a requirement.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and Develop Customer Relationships: answer incoming calls and emails, prepare pricing quotes, and orders for system entry. Work with customers to strengthen relationships and drive business growth. There is no hard selling involved.
- Customer Support: Liaise with Sales Management and Customer Development to ensure customers receive timely pricing, excellent service, and accurate product information.
- Trade Shows & Events: Attend and represent TMB at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events from time to time, if needed.
- Collaboration: Regularly communicate with Sales Management, Customer Development, Operations, Accounting, and other team members to prioritize customer orders
What You’ll Bring:
- Some experience in event/show production or customer development within the AVL or live performance and entertainment industry preferred. Not a requirement.
- Passion for Audio, Video, and Lighting solutions, and the products we sell.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, data entry, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage your time, prioritize sales activities, and maintain customer records.

Physical Requirements:
Sitting up to 8 hours per day. Heavy telephone and computer usage.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Understanding of sales processes and dynamics helpful, but not required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Data entry
- Attention to detail
- Microsoft Office and Adobe products – Outlook, word, excel, PDFs
- Audio/visual Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Entertainment Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Lighting Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Order entry: 1 year (Preferred)
This is a full-time position located in our Carlstadt, NJ office. 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications: $45-70k annual.
