We are looking for a Sales Director for the Southeast region. Successful candidates have a proven track record of driving sales growth both with existing customers as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities. This position reports to the VP of Sales and works closely with all members of the Kelvix team.

 

Position Responsibilities:
  • Establish and meet sales quotas and objectives, increasing bottom line sales.
  • Present Kelvix company philosophy and products in both small- and large-scale situations.
  • Collaborate closely with our Customer Service teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Organize and attend industry trade shows.
  • Demonstrate understanding of customer outreach and forge strong relationships with clients, providing them with insight into Kelvix’s innovative solutions.
  • Interact in person or virtually with customers as travel conditions apply.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously with little supervision.
  • Manage administrative duties, e.g. call reports, expense reports, pipeline, CRM weekly updates, and assigned projects.
  • Provide insights into competitive products, industry trends, and overall market information to contribute to Kelvix’s strategic positioning.
  • Reside in the Southeast region.

 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in lighting sales
  • Must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of multiple facets of the architectural lighting industry with strong relationship with rep agencies, lighting design firms, and architectural firms
  • Extensive knowledge of LED technology and products
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Professional, responsible, and dedicated
  • Ability to work both independently and with teams
  • Willingness to travel within sales territory
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in leveraging CRM tools to drive customer engagement and sales growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
