Central Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking passionate, results-driven Sales Managers to facilitate our future growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our sales operations within the designated region. They will execute strategic sales plans, build and maintain strong client relationships, and lead sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
This role requires an understanding of lighting fundamentals, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management. The candidate should be willing to extend beyond traditional sales calls, focusing additionally on facilities managers and end users to showcase our high-quality engineered products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives within the designated region.
- Manage and expand customer relationships by building and maintaining rapport with key clients, facilities managers, and end-users.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a network of sales agents to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share within the region.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and project management, to ensure the timely delivery of project offers and promotional materials.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with an MBA.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience, ideally within the lighting or related industry.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and consistently meet or exceed targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and develop a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with comfort in public speaking.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within the region, including some international travel.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of the lighting industry, including architectural lighting products and market trends.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a focus on achieving high performance in sales activities.
- Ability to read and understand design documents, including blueprints.
- Competence in establishing and maintaining relationships with industry professionals such as Lighting Designers, Engineers, and Architects.
- Comfort with using industry-standard software and tools, including Microsoft Office 365.
- Effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
