JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Manager role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans building and maintaining strong client relationships and leading a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the architectural lighting industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy Development and Execution

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company’s objectives for the region
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share
  • Lead, Mentor, and motivated team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports, or cast, and representation to senior management
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the region
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards qualifications

 

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus
  • minimum of five years of sales management experience, preferably in the architectural lighting or related industry
  • proven ability to drive sales growth and meet or exceed targets
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication, negotiation, and representation skills
  • proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
  • willingness to travel within the region as required.

SPECIFIC WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of the job, the employee operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. May access and work in the manufacturing facility, occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Noise level is usually low to moderate.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently travel outside the local area and overnight.
