Position: Customer Service Representative


Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage and monitor sales orders within the plant and communicate cohesively with sales representatives and customers via phone and email.

  • Deliver exemplary customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints across multiple platforms (phone, email, chat).

  • Investigate and ensure the satisfactory resolution of customer complaints, always prioritizing a positive customer experience.

  • Partner with diverse teams such as sales, finance, and logistics to address customer concerns and guarantee prompt order delivery.

  • Process shipping claims and coordinate tracking through UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.

  • Formulate and implement customer claim protocols.

  • Stay abreast with detailed knowledge of company offerings and policies to provide customers with accurate and timely information.


Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Prior experience in the Lighting or Electrical Industry is highly desirable.

  • Outstanding phone etiquette and communication prowess.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word) and MAS90/Sage or similar ERP system.

  • Skilled in data entry and order processing.

  • Customer satisfaction-centric mindset.

  • Ability to multitask and handle assorted office tasks as necessary.

  • Proficiency in research and problem-solving.

  • Physical stamina: ability to navigate level surfaces to a secondary plant and climb 2nd story stairs (no elevator access). Moderate to extensive keyboard use expected.

  • Detail-oriented and focused approach.

  • Team collaborator.

  • Adherence to strict timelines is crucial.

  • Must be available for an 8:00 am to 4:30 pm shift.
