Pa-Co Lighting Inc., now part of the LMPG group, is a manufacturer of LED luminaires for specialty applications, including security / anti-vandal applications (such as correctional facilities or high abuse public access areas), medical and behavioral facility lighting, clean room lighting and luminaires for transit applications. We design, manufacture, assemble and bring to market innovative and top-quality products that meets the most stringent requirements that these specific applications need.

 

Job Description:

Pa-Co requires a Regional Sales Manager to join its growing team in the Southern USA. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who is looking to advance their career with an entrepreneurial and dynamic organization. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for promoting Pa-Co’s products and ensuring the achievement of sales goals and profit objectives in defined geographical territories within North America.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Be the "face" of the Company in assigned territory

  • Collaborate with local manufacturer representatives to develop and execute sales strategy within the assigned territory

  • Define sales goals/targets and actively evaluate progress toward those goals

  • Conduct thorough product training & evaluate uptake

  • Manage sales activities and ensure proper market penetration

  • Evaluate and report agent sales figures

  • Manage sales pipeline

  • Conduct sales calls (presentations) within territory in conjunction with representatives

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues within the organization

  • Represent Pa-Co at marketing events (trade shows, symposiums, etc.)

  • Develop long-term sales forecasts; report and update data on a regular basis

  • Evaluate and report on competition activity within the territory

  • Prepare market and product specific presentations.

  • Promote the Pa-Co brand by using our social networks, attending events and meeting with our agency network, specifiers and end users.

  • Execute special projects as requested by the VP of Sales

  • Update CRM with activities, follow up and project pipeline.

  • Participate in weekly conference calls with colleagues

 

Requirements:

  • Specification lighting sales experience either working for a manufacturer or Rep firm in Outside or Specification Sales. Other relevant customer-facing experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of lighting agency sales-channel model

  • Technical aptitude - knowledge of current lighting technology, applications, and standards

  • Must combine strong interpersonal skills with drive and tenacity

  • Possess strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Must be results-oriented and analytical

  • Diplomatic; able to assess tough political situations and make recommendations on course of action

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple (sometimes un-related) tasks

  • Innovative and creative

  • Demonstrates a sense of initiative and autonomy

  • Embraces change

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Available for frequent (12-15 days/month) overnight travel
