For almost 20 years, GM Lighting has been a major supplier of LED linear tape, downlights, under cabinet, and accent lighting for residential, commercial and hospitality industries.
Due to our continued growth and success, we are expanding again! Join our GM Lighting team. We are seeking a Western Regional Sales Manager.

Responsible for managing key relationships with the following: Rep Agencies, Distribution Chains and Independents, End Users, Electrical Contractors, ESCO’s, and Lighting Maintenance Contractors for the project business.

Manage Agent Relationships:
- Regularly evaluate performance, mentors, and offers guidance around prioritizing time, schedule, negotiations, and strategic direction
- Upgrade agencies as necessary to best align with business needs and strategic areas of growth.
- Communicate on a regular basis the Agency’s performance against the GM Lighting Annual Sales Plan

Works with design/build project and energy teams at key distribution, end user, and ESCO’s to build a robust project pipeline.

Competitor analysis – analyze the competitive position of the organization’s products and/or services.

Work with the GM Lighting Marketing Team – formulate and execute sales promotion policies and programs with distributor partners and rep agencies to promote additional sales revenue.

Management and control of all regional sales expenses (promotional, operating, travel, & entertainment)

Provide management with prompt communication on all sales activities and important development in the sales region (sales reports, competitor information, lost business reports, etc.)

Work with Product Management and Business Development to help develop the product strategy.

A minimum of 50% travel within the territory required.
