The Sports Lighting Design Specialist is responsible for creating efficient and high-quality sports lighting designs for various athletic facilities, including stadiums, arenas, and outdoor sports complexes. The role involves using AGi32 software to develop lighting layouts and plans that meet the specific requirements of each project while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in lighting design, experience with AGi32, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements associated with sports lighting design.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other design professionals to understand the specific requirements and objectives of each sports lighting project.

2. Use AGi32 software to create detailed lighting layouts, plans, and photometric analyses, ensuring optimal light distribution, uniformity, and energy efficiency for various sports applications.

3. Select appropriate sports lighting fixtures, control systems, and mounting equipment based on factors such as performance, aesthetics, durability, and cost.

4. Develop lighting design specifications and documentation, including luminaire schedules, wiring diagrams, and installation guidelines.

5. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and project stakeholders, showcasing sports lighting design concepts, renderings, and technical specifications.

6. Coordinate with electrical engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure proper installation and implementation of sports lighting designs.

7. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that sports lighting installations comply with design specifications, industry standards, and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in sports lighting design, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.

3. Proficiency in AGi32 software and other relevant design tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.

4. Strong knowledge of sports lighting technologies, products, and industry standards.

5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex design concepts to clients and project stakeholders.
