Overall Responsibility
Reports to the Sales Operations Manager. Working closely with the Inside/Outside Sales team, and the Specification Sales team to help budget, quote, and close new projects, along with managing current business, along with managing current business.
Outside Sales - Key areas of responsibility:
- Responsible for developing and executing strategic prospecting plan with assigned electrical contractors
- Generating a constantly evolving sales pipeline and held accountable to exceeding sales plans
- Assisting inside sales regarding quotes for both projects large and small, public and private money architectural, commercial, retail, etc.
Qualifications:
- Any previous experience with lighting, architecture or electrical engineering
- Any Inside or outside sales experience
- A strong scientific background and a good grasp of basic level mathematics
- The ability to write with clear concision, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Must be comfortable with talking to customers on the phone
- The ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Critical thinking and a willingness to ask questions
